Sadly, the Runner can not be used as is, at least three lines of source code have to be added. After adding these lines Runner starts recognizing Windows Serverit still can not work out-of-box because there is no ready-to-use official helper images for Windows version Windows Server is not EOL yet so it can be worthy to support it. One the options will allow to use the Runner on Windows At the moment I have to use customized version of the Runner with relaxed Windows version validation.

A helper images also has to be built by own. Original MR with the similar proposal:! Open sidebar GitLab. Support Windows Server Version And put a note into a documentation that for working with Windows Server helper image has to be built manually. Anyway, seems like version of Windows is used only for building an URL to windows server 2016 version 1607 prebuilt helper image.
